As a technological platform for high through-put analysis of gene function and gene expression, both at the transcriptome and proteome level, we established the clinical gene analysis laboratory. This laboratory is equipped with a three laser fluorescence isotope scanner (FLA 5000, Fuji), a Chip scanner (DNAScope LM+, GeneFocus), a high performance Spotter (Verse Array Chip Writer pro System, BioRad) with automatic liquid handling system, a chip hybridisation and washing station [Array Booster AB410 and ADVA Wash (Implan)], a Siemens Versant kPCR liquid handling robot for nucleic acid isolation from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections and a Laser Scanning Microscop TCS-SPE (Leica) with incubation chamber.

FLA 5000 (Fuji) - Fluorescence scanner equipped with three lasers (473 nm, 633 nm, 532 nm)
Laser Scanning Microscop TCS-SPE (Leica) with incubation chamber - Confocal microscopy and live cell imaging with temperature and CO2 control.
VersArray ChipWriter Pro System (BioRad) with automatic Liquid-Handling-System - High performance spotting robot with automatic liquid handling system
ArrayBooster AB410 und AdvaWash (IMPLEN) - Microchip hybridization and washing station
Versant kPCR liquid handling robot (Siemens) - Liquid handling robot for nucleic acid isolation from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections
